As a Test Engineer in this position, the candidate would work with various types of RF diagnostic and testing tools to test and debug failures and defects.What a typical day looks like:Support the testing, measuring, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and RF circuit card assemblies, systems, and sub-assemblies using specialized equipment to analyze signal strength, interference, and other relevant parameters.Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as Oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, Spectrum analyzers, Network analyzers, multimeters.Troubleshoot and maintain test equipment to ensure the ongoing functionality of the equipment.Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation.Assist in Monitor Quality data for trends and outliers and report regularly to the team.Generate and implement improvements in test design and develop methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput.Interface with Engineering, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause.Provide training and support for manufacturing personnel.Here are a few of our preferred experiences:Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE/Electronics, or related field (MSEE or advanced degree preferred)6-8 years of experience using RF measurement and test equipment including power meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzersto debug to the component level in RF circuit cardsto troubleshoot test systems and drive improvementsDemonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other disciplines/functions.Programming or scripting experience (Python or C#)Experience with Circuit card assemblies; Test, Design, troubleshootProblem solving capabilities and experience using metrics and data to drive actionsProven track record of solving/ troubleshooting complicated production issues and/ or driving yield improvementsJS21What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition Reimbursement Application Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
